🎨 A new tartan was made just for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games! It has blue, pink, and purple colors on a grey background, inspired by Glasgow's shipbuilding past.
👗 A fashion designer named Siobhan Mackenzie made the tartan. She will also design special tartan clothes for Team Scotland's athletes and helpers.
🧵 Tartan is a colorful, checked fabric from Scotland. People have used it for hundreds of years to make kilts and scarves. There are now about 7,000 different tartans!
🎭 The new tartan will be used for the Games' mascot's clothes. We'll find out who the mascot is later this month!
🏅 The Commonwealth Games will happen in Glasgow from July 23 to August 2, 2026. There will be 10 sports, like swimming, running, basketball, and gymnastics with about 3,000 athletes from 74 places!

🌳 A magical tree story. A new movie is coming about The Magic Faraway Tree, where kids find a magical tree in an enchanted forest with amazing adventures at the top!
🎬 Famous people in the movie. The movie stars Andrew Garfield as the dad, Claire Foy as the mum, and Nicola Coughlan as Silky the pixie.
🧚 Fun and wacky characters. The kids meet magical characters like Silky the pixie, Moonface, and Dame Washalot on their journey.
🏡 From city to forest. The story shows how the kids move from the city to the countryside and learn to love their new magical life!
